Bhatkanti: Dhangad .. a.k.a Ghangad
Yo! We were thinking of a pre-monsoon trek and the destination finalized: Dhangad [Ghangad!].
... the team managed to gather at Pune station at 6am and catched the local to Lonavala. The route is simple:
Pune Station -> Lonavala -> Sahara Valley -> Amabavane -> and Bhambarde.
Reached the base village at 10am and started climbing...! The trek is really simple except the final rock climb which you need to climb with somebody technical/ experienced.
The view from the top is awesome! One can view Telbaila and surrounding forts like Sarasgad!
Avoid this trek during this season [monsoon!].
